Classes available during VBS: 

  • V.B.S. material is for 3 years – 5th grade

  • 6th-8th grade class and 9th-12th grade class 

  • Cradle roll for 2 years and under

  • Adult Class

Please contact Jennifer W., if you have questions.  If you are able to provide one of these items, please have it at the building in the supply room of the classroom building by May 18th.  A box will be placed there to receive your items.  Please remember to put your name on the item if you would like it returned to you.  The items that we already have are colored pink.  Thanks!

  • White sheet
  • Silver Tinsel
  • Logs
  • White blinking Christmas lights
  • Shepherd’s Surprise Script
  • 2 volunteers to play shepherds
  • 4 flashlights
  • Shepherd costumes
  • Curved shepherd’s staff (or walking stick)
  • Orange and yellow tissue paper
  • Extension cord
  • Duct tape
  • Clacker to get kids attention
  • Timer
  • Cinnamon rolls in sealable plastic containers
  • Box of hand tools (including both kinds of screwdrivers)
  • Tool belt
  • #10 one-inch spanner screw (whatever Arie has)
  • #10 spanner screwdriver bit and screwdriver (whatever Arie has)
  • Television remote control
  • Plywood scoreboard—20” square piece—starter hole on Devil side
  • White paint
  • 5 cardboard number tags (2-0’s and 1 of 1-3)
  • Nail for Jesus side
  • Hard Hat
  • CD Player
  • Manila envelope
  • Marker
  • Black plastic to cover windows
 

 

  • Weathered, heavy cotton ropes
  • Clear bowls filled with water
  • Costumes for guard and prisoner
  • 2x6 in. strips of cotton sheets (1 per participant)
  • Mark-B-Gone Marking Pens
  • Someone to play prisoner—someone children don’t know
  • Rolled-up paper “scroll”
  • Unscented, white pillar candles
  • Matches
  • Small, simple wooden cross (3' tall)
  • 6 folding chairs
  • Folding table that will seat 6-8
  • Table cloth (fun, colorful)
  • Tableware for 6 places (children will be handling these...plastic might be best)
    • Placemats
    • Napkins

  • Inflated balloons (24 total—12 per rotation)
  • Black garbage sacks for balloons
  • Tape
  • 1 bowl per crew (reused through rotations)
  • 1 napkin per participant
  • Vanilla wafers (3 per child) (2 boxes)
